This is the true appearence of the famous "green Orion slave girl" you have heard so much about.
Vina is in fact human: an Earth woman that had the bad luck to crash-land on Talos Four. The Talosians are powerful telepaths who inexpertly put her broken body back together, then kept her in a cage and studied her. Until Captain Pike and his landing party came along, she hadn't seen or touched another real human being in years.
With the Talosians help, Vina appeared in many babe-u-licious forms to the captive Captain Pike - including the shape of a green dancing chick - in one of PIKE'S fantasies. She NEVER even encountered Captain Kirk, and therefore there is no way in hell that Captain Kirk had anything to do with her.
Pike apparently had a fantasy about being an "Orion Trader" which apparently included "dealing in green animal women". FWIW, we never learned if Orions are green, or if the Orions are the ones who enslave the green people. All we know for sure is that Vina appeared once as a "green Orion slave girl", and was so identified by Captain Kirk.
Vina was actually not green, nor Orion, but she is in fact a kind of a slave. She's a captive of the Talosians, and is addicted to the alluring visions that they force her to live and relive.
Pike escaped his Talosian captivity, leaving the pitiful, broken, old Vina behind - but he returned to her with Mr. Spock's help, in The Menagerie.
Pike suffered a devastating injury which left him all but completely helpless in a wheelchair. In this shattered state, he returned to live out the rest of his life with Vina, in happy illusions that the Talosians create for them.
