We met her in Wolf In The Fold. She was the adored wife of Argelian Prefect Jaris, and also she was a perfectly respectable psychic medium who could sense and interpret subtle spiritual energy. She was asked to lead a seance in an effort to discover the truth about the murders.
She was not some sideshow hustler. She was a beautiful, elegant and dignified lady. Her spiritualism was taken totally seriously by her countrymen.
Sybo (while in a trance): "Oh! Oh! There is evil here. Montrous, terrible evil! Consuming hunger... hatred of all that lives! Hatred of women. A hunger that never dies! It is strong... overpowering! An ancient terror. It has a name... Baratis, Kesla, REDJACK!"During the seance, disaster struck. The lights went out, and when they came on again soon after Sybo was found murdered - stabbed - apparently by Mr. Scott. Again, it was really the malevolent alien du jour that was really the killer.
