The computer engineers and techs of female-dominated Signet 14: We never saw them, but we heard about them, in Tomorrow Is Yesterday.
While the Enterprise was at Signet 14 for general maintenance and repairs, the lady computer engineers and technicians of this Amazonian society reprogammed the Enterprise computer to seductively call Captain Kirk "dear" and to giggle a lot. I guess he made a big impression on them while he was at liberty there, and they wanted to return the favor. The superior Signet 14 ladies liked yankin' Kirk's chain so much that I guess they never wanted the fun to end.
They must be a brilliant bunch: even the super-genius Mr. Spock couldn't fix the glitch. He admitted that to reset the ship's computer to its original bland default personality would take a minumum of 3 weeks at a starbase repair facility.
