The (Non) Women Of Star Trek: The Alice Series

by Laura Goodwin

Just another Alice (Rhae and Alyce Andrece)

Alice 471 (pictured above) was exactly like the hundreds of other Alices in the Alice series of androids that Harry Mudd ruled (and was held captive by), in I, Mudd.

Alice was particularly favored by Mudd, but Kirk did not like her, nor did he have any use for any of the other Alices. He also had no use for any of the Barbaras, the Maisies, the Daisies, the many other series of beautiful and fully functional female-type androids that horndog Mudd had so greedily and redundantly covered the world with.

Mudd knew at once that Spock would not appreciate his mechanical dolls. Well, it turned out that Kirk had no appreciation for them, either.

Kirk (to Mudd): "Don't you believe in MALE androids?"
