We briefly meet cute Yeoman Tina Lawton in Charlie X. Yeoman Rand introduces her to Charlie, in the hope that she and Charlie might like each other.
"I thought you might enjoy meeting someone your own age!", Rand said to Charlie.
Charlie Evans was seventeen years old. That means that Yeoman Tina Lawton was also ONLY SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD, yet already a Yeoman third class, assigned to a deep space exploration vessel.
Charlie rejected Tina very rudely, but not because there was anything wrong with her. She was charming and personable, and she tried being polite and welcoming to Charlie.
She also had some pride, because she didn't waste ten seconds of her precious time on Charlie once he had made it plain that he was only interested in Rand.
Imagine that: seventeen, and already she's serving aboard the prestigious Enterprise under the famous Captain Kirk! Boy, she must have had a lot on the ball!
