We met Kara the Argelian in Wolf In The Fold. She was a beautiful and sensual woman who danced for a living at a small club/bar (whorehouse?) that several Enterprise men visited while on liberty. She left the club in the company of Engineer Montgomery Scott - presumably to go have sex. Soon thereafter it was revealed that she had been brutally murdered.
Mr. Scott was accused of the crime, but it was ultimately proven that an alien entity that fed on the emotion of fear was the one who was really responsible.
